Student life at Ruda Academy, Thoubal (RAT) goes beyond the realms of the classroom.
RAT strongly supports and affords multifarious opportunities for student learning beyond
academics. We encourage student involvement in all spheres of life so as to build leadership
qualities in them, to inculcate in them a passion for sports and fitness, to develop in them
a true spirit for community service, and to enhance their creative expression so as to help
them reach their highest potential as productive, positive and progressive human beings.
Speech Competitions, Recitation Competitions, Educational Excursion ( Internal & External),
Observation of Teachers’ Day, Patriots’ Day, Independence Day, Children’s Day and Cleanliness
Day etc. These are the important scheduled programmes of this Academy during the Academic session.
Our leadership programmes are rooted in a strong commitment to support students in their ongoing development as leaders. We inculcate leadership qualities in the students, by allowing them to take the lead in various activities and projects. We have various committees, such as Assembly Committee, House Committee, and Events Committee, which are led by students and provide them with an initial grounding in leading others. We also organize in house and external leadership training workshops to develop leadership skills amongst students. Our leadership activities help students to:
Become more self-aware.
Identify improvement areas.
Boost self-esteem and morale.
Practice public confidence and expressing themselves clearly to others.
Develop their organizational skills and the ability to manage others.
Develop overall personality and promote ‘can-do’ attitudes.
Our Academy conducts a varieties of annual inter house school competition such as Quiz, Essay Writing, Recitation, Monologue, Extempore speech Painting , Games and Sports etc. as parts of co-scholastic and curricular activities. It enhances the personalities of students and also enables us to find out their skill and talents in certain traits.
The Ruda Academy, Thoubal is not only just a school, but a way of life also. It is a spirit that
animates the students lives in every aspect. It is the spirit of teamwork, the spirit of solidarity
and the spirit of service. In an academic year different schedule programmes including Formative
Assessments & Summative Assessments under C.C.E. schemes, project works, Home Assignments, regular
Parents meets, Quiz Competitions, Literary Meets, Weekly Tests, Games & Sports, Debating & Painting
Competitions, Extempore
Speech Competitions, Recitation Competitions, Educational Excursion ( Internal & External), Observation

Education involves a triangular relationship i.e. the relation among Parents/Guardians, Teachers and Students. It plays a pivotal role to accelerate the progress of the students. It is, therefore, our Academy conducts frequent meetings of parents/Guardians and teachers at least 5(five) times after the Formative Assessments and Summative Assessments for having transparency between the parents/Guardians and teachers about the progress of the students. This feed back meetings enable us to point out the incomplete/shortage of the students in their way of lives.
Monthly tuition fees and Mess fees may be paid on or before the 10th of the instant month at school counter or Cheque Demand Draft in favour of Ruda Academy, Thoubal, payable at Thoubal. Account Transferred/RTGSINEFT/ SWIPE-MACHINE also available. School Account No. 0353050013208, United Bank of India , Thoubal Branch with IFSC No. UTBIOTH0953.
Parents/Guardians must mention the name and ID of the student for whom the fee is deposited. Parents are requested to intimate the school office within 3 (three) days through Email: rudaacademythoubal@gmail.com without fail.
Fees will be charged for a full period of 12 months.
Monthly tuition fees should be cleared on or before the 10th of the instant month without late fine.
In case the fees is not paid up to 10th of the specified month, a fine of Rs. 20/- each for Tuition fee and Rs. 100/- for Mess fee for the instant month will be charged. The name of the student will be struck off after one month of the due date of the payment of fees. The students may be readmitted at the discretion of the Principal on payment of all the arrears.
No separate communication/reminder will be sent by the school for payment of fees/dues.
Tuition fees and vehicle fees, for those who are enjoying the Academic Vehicle service, should be paid together on or before the 10th of the instant month without fine.
For boarders, boarding fees and Academic tuition fees should be made clear together on or before 10th of the month.
